There’s Still Time to Register for October Workshops!

As part of our commitment to Teach, Learn, and Collaborate, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Center for Community Development, Engagement, and Training (UWO CCDET), is offering these cost-effective virtual workshops designed to support regulatory compliance.

  • October 7 – Rules of the Road: Clear compliance pathways for newly licensed or certified assisted living and home care providers.
  • DOctober 14 – Setting Your Training Course: Design staff training to meet educational requirements for AFHs, CBRFs, RCACs, nursing homes, home health agencies, and personal care agencies.
  • October 16 – 5 Steps to Caregiver Background Checks: A guide for individuals completing background checks in all DQA-regulated settings.
  • October 21 – Investigating & Reporting Allegations of Misconduct for State Providers: Ensure your investigations and reports comply with DQA regulations in state-licensed and certified facilities — including assisted living, home care, mental health and substance use treatment providers, and more.
