Upcoming Changes to the Children’s Long-Term Support Program Login Process
Starting August 18, 2025, providers will have a new registration and login process for the Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program registry. The State of Wisconsin is replacing the Web Access Management System (WAMS) ID with a new account called MyWisconsin ID. These changes are part of DHS’s efforts to improve cybersecurity.
Registration information and deadline
- Providers must enroll in MyWisconsin ID by November 2025 to ensure their CLTS Program Registration is linked to the account.
- If providers fail to enroll by the November deadline, they will be required to create a new CLTS Program Registration.
- If providers already have a MyWisconsin ID, they do not need to sign up for a new one.
- After August 18, providers will be required to use MyWisconsin ID to login.
What will it look like?
The first time you access the CLTS Provider Registry after the update, you will be brought to this screen, and will need to select “Create Account” under the sign-in button:
Please read the MyWisconsin ID Registration Job Aid (PDF) and follow the steps to sign up. Once you’ve created your MyWisconsinID and log into the CLTS Provider Registry, you’ll be prompted to create a registration or link to an existing registration. Please select the “Next” button under “Request Access to an Existing Registration” and fill out the information requested:
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services will send more information closer to the August 18 start date.
