Ad hoc meeting on August 4, 2025
The recently signed federal budget reconciliation act includes a number of changes to Medicaid and FoodShare. The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is looking at the details of the legislation and working with our federal partners to understand how it will affect our members. We are also working on an implementation plan that will span the next few years.
Given these new developments, we are adding an ad hoc meeting of the Health Care Partner Engagement Group on Monday, August 4. At this meeting, DHS staff will share their understanding of the requirements in the budget bill, along with resources for messaging to members.
