Updated Information on Prior Authorization Conversion and Next Steps
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is providing county waiver agencies (CWAs) and Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) providers with updated information on converted prior authorizations (PAs) from WPS to the ForwardHealth Portal.
CLTS providers and CWAs have shared that there are PAs missing from the ForwardHealth Portal, that were originally approved with WPS. After further review, DHS has found additional PAs that are ready for conversion to the ForwardHealth Portal.
The conversion of these PAs will be complete by Monday, June 9.
Next steps after June 9
Providers who are still unable to locate their PAs after June 9, should contact the CLTS Operations Team at cltsoperations@gainwelltechnologies.com or 844-942-5870. The CLTS Operations Team will work with providers to locate the missing PAs. If the PA is not available, the CLTS Operations Team will connect the provider with the CWA to have a new PA entered in the ForwardHealth Portal.
