CLTS Claims and Prior Authorizations Data Availability in the SAS Enterprise Data Warehouse
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has transitioned from Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) to ForwardHealth, the state’s fiscal agent, for Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program prior authorizations (PAs) and claims processing. As a result of this, existing reports in the SAS Enterprise Data Warehouse (SAS-EDW) are being redeveloped to reflect this change. These reports include:
- CLTS Advanced Query Builder (AQB)
- CLTS Authorizations Reports
- CLTS Reconciliation Template External
- CLTS Claims Extract
- CLTS Inpatient Overlap Report
The current versions of these reports will remain available in SAS until updated versions are released on June 19, 2025. All prior authorization (PA) records submitted to WPS through April 28 as well as claims records submitted through May 5, 2025, are currently available in SAS, and will remain available once these reports have been updated to include data on newly submitted claims and PAs.
County waiver agencies will continue to have the ability to view PAs submitted to ForwardHealth on or after April 28, 2025, by accessing the ForwardHealth Portal and either individually searching claims or via the Bulk PA Download function.
