This message is being sent to infection preventionists, local health officers, Tribal health directors, local health department staff, local health department nurses, and Division of Quality Assurance: notifications and updates lists.

Topic: Reporting of Expedited Partner Therapy (EPT) for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

Loriann Stanislawski from the Bureau of Communicable Diseases STI Intervention Unit will discuss EPT and how it supports the public health response to STIs. A basic overview of the public health approach to STI prevention will be discussed, along with how EPT should be reported. There will also be some discussion of why reporting levels are very low. Resources regarding EPT and basic details on EPT reporting will be shared.
