Call for Applications - Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training

Mental Health America of Wisconsin, with support through a grant from the Division of Care and Treatment Services, is accepting applications for the 2025 Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training. This is a training for organizations that wish to implement the Zero Suicide quality improvement framework. It is not suicide care training for individuals.

This year's Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training is scheduled to take place live online using Zoom July 30-31, 2025. Applications must be submitted to Mental Health America of Wisconsin by April 11, 2025.

Visit the Prevent Suicide Wisconsin website for more information.

Email questions or concerns about this training and the application process to Kelsey Van Hoorn (kelsey@mhawisconsin.org), Mental Health America of Wisconsin's Zero Suicide coordinator.

Strategy three of the Wisconsin suicide prevention plan is to implement best practices for suicide prevention in health care systems. This involves promoting a systematic Zero Suicide approach, rooted in the understanding that health care systems can help prevent suicide in people receiving treatment services.
