Register Now for March Workshops!

As part of the Division’s commitment to Teach, Learn and Collaborate, the WI Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Center for Community Development, Engagement and Training (UWO CCDET) would like to help you meet your training needs this Spring.

Workshops for Administrators, Managers, Supervisors, Trainers & HR Professionals
CCDET-led workshops are for staff in DQA-regulated settings who are responsible for carrying out state and federal requirements. To help keep these virtual workshops affordable and accessible, they are partially subsidized by DQA.

March Virtual Workshops:

  • March 6 – Investigating & Reporting Allegations of Misconduct for State Providers: Ensure misconduct investigations and reporting meet DQA regulations in state licensed/certified facilities, including assisted living, homecare, mental health & substance use treatment providers, and more.
  • March 18 – Investigating & Reporting Requirements for Federally Certified Providers: Ensure compliance with federal regulations for investigating and reporting allegations of mistreatment in federally certified skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and swing bed hospitals.
  • March 20 – Setting Your Training Couse: Designed for individuals who are new to the role of ensuring staff training meets regulatory compliance in assisted living, nursing home, home health, and personal care settings.
  • March 25 – 5 Steps to Caregiver Background Checks: Complete caregiver background checks & evaluate results for all DQA-regulated settings. Includes resources to ensure compliance.
  • March 27 – Caregivers SOAR! Encouraging Success ~ Opportunity ~ Advancement ~ Retention Promote job satisfaction and retention among caregivers.
