December Workshops Available to Meet Your End of Year CEU Needs

As part of the Division’s commitment to Teach, Learn, and Collaborate, the WI Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Center for Community Development, Engagement and Training (UWO CCDET) would like to help you meet your training needs as 2024 comes to an end.

Workshops for Administrators, Managers, Supervisors, Trainers & HR Professionals
CCDET-led workshops are for staff in DQA-regulated settings who are responsible for carrying out state and federal requirements. To help keep these virtual workshops affordable and accessible, they are partially subsidized by DQA.

December Virtual Workshops:

  • December 3 – Investigating & Reporting Allegations of Misconduct: Meeting State Requirements (for all providers except SNFs, ICFs/IDD, swing bed hospitals).
  • December 4 – 5 Steps to Caregiver Background Checks: Completing checks & evaluating results. Includes resources to ensure compliance.
  • December 10 – Ready, Set, Train – Caregiver Continuing Education: An overview of available materials to train your staff. Learn to access and train content for 20 classroom-style presentations plus the misconduct prevention video series.
  • December 12 – Investigating & Reporting Requirements for Federally Certified Providers: Ensuring compliance with federal regulations. This program has been approved for Continuing Education for 4 total participant hours by the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards, National Continuing Education Review Service (NAB/NCERS) —Approval # 20251211-4-A107671-DL.
