Important Update for Katie Beckett Medicaid
We are pleased to share that we are making improvements to the systems we use to manage and deliver Katie Beckett Medicaid benefits. These changes will enhance how parents or guardians of members manage their child’s benefits by allowing them to use the ACCESS website at access.wi.gov.
Key points
- Enhanced access: Members can now check their benefits, update their information, upload documents, and even find other helpful programs and apply online!
- Easy setup: Members will need to create an ACCESS account at access.wi.gov. If they already have an ACCESS account for programs like BadgerCare Plus or FoodShare, they will use the same account for Katie Beckett Medicaid benefits.
- Members can’t do some things online: They can’t complete a renewal and they can’t report changes, until late 2025. They will not be able to use the MyACCESS smartphone app, but can look at their account on ACCESS on a mobile browser.

For any tech support questions or assistance with the ACCESS website, members can contact Member Services at 800-362-3002. Please note that Katie Beckett Medicaid staff are not able to answer questions about ACCESS.
