New Program from Superior Health Quality Alliance

The Division of Quality Assurance is sending this message as part of our commitment to Collaboration, Innovation, and Quality.

Superior Health Quality Alliance, under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is offering a new program called The Interactive Combined Vaccination at no cost to all Medicare beneficiaries and nursing homes.

This program is only available until October 31, 2024, so act quickly to take advantage of this free learning opportunity!

How To Participate
There are two paths in the Interactive Combined Vaccine Program: one path for nursing homes and one path for community settings. Both programs are dedicated to boosting vaccination rates and awareness for COVID-19, pneumonia, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and influenza vaccines. Both programs are provided free of charge.

The nursing home program includes concise, engaging modules that can help bolster vaccination rates and showcase the competencies of your residents, families, and staff.

The community program is tailored for Medicare beneficiaries in community settings and uses informative and inviting modules to arm you with the knowledge to dispel vaccination myths and keep pace with the latest best practices.

As a reminder, these educational resources come at no cost and are invaluable tools. By fostering increased awareness and knowledge, we can collaboratively strive towards creating a healthier and safer environment for everyone involved. Get vaccinated, stay protected!

Nursing Homes - Which targets providers, staff, residents, and responsible parties to educate on vaccinations COVID 1, RSV, Influenza and Pneumonia to increase vaccination efforts and get them educated about the benefits.

Medicare Community Settings (non-nursing homes) - Which targets Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid beneficiaries as well as any staff working in other senior community living environments. While they are similar, they do have separate QR codes, and links to access the programs. The programs have the same messaging and education, but they have slightly different landing pages for the two separate entities. The community side is also useful to nursing home especially if they are part of a continuum of care.
