Infection Preventionist Lunch and Learn Series

This message is being sent to infection preventionists, local health officers, Tribal health directors, local health department staff, local health department nurses, and Division of Quality Assurance: notifications and updates lists.

The Infection Preventionist Lunch and Learn Series is an opportunity for infection preventionists (IPs) from all care settings to come together to discuss introductory infection prevention and control topics, as well as share information, network, and ask questions.

Date: Tuesday, May 14, at 12–12:30 p.m.

Topic: Situational Risk Assessments

From time to time, health care facilities identify situations, problems, or practices that need to be assessed for potential infection prevention risk. This can include proactively evaluating new patient care equipment or reviewing an equipment or infection prevention process failure. A standardized risk assessment template can help streamline the risk assessment process. Join us to walk through a template for situational risk assessments.
