Workshops and On-Demand Courses Available Now

As part of the Division’s commitment to Collaboration, Innovation, and Quality, the WI Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Center for Community Development, Engagement and Training (UWO CCDET) would like to help you meet your training needs this spring!

On-Demand Courses for Direct Caregivers
On-Demand courses offer anytime online access for direct care staff. These 1-to-2-hour courses can be viewed as time allows and are only $35 each. Please see the course description webpage for information on the availability of a discount or group pricing.

Workshops for Administrators, Managers & Supervisors
CCDET led workshops are for staff in DQA regulated settings who are responsible for carrying out state and federal requirements. To help keep these virtual workshops affordable and accessible, they are partially subsidized by DQA. All workshops are facilitated by experienced CCDET trainers, and many are attended by DQA subject matter experts.

Dementia Capable Wisconsin
Developed for and approved by DHS as part of the Wisconsin Dementia Care Project, the Dementia Care Project Learning Center includes both on-demand courses and in-person workshop opportunities. The Generalist, Specialist, & Challenging Behavioral Specialist courses in this series range from introductory to advanced.
