Help Promote Hand Hygiene Practices Among Staff

This bulletin is being sent to local health officers, Tribal health directors, public health nurses, local public health department staff, infection preventionists, and subscribers to the Assisted Living Forum, and DQA Notifications.

National Handwashing Awareness Week is December 5–11, 2023. The HAI Prevention Program encourages facilities to celebrate this week and beyond by facilitating hand hygiene education or sharing educational resources at your facility as helpful reminders to staff, patients, residents, and visitors.
