Awardees for Round 2 of the Wisconsin Medicaid HCBS Grant have been selected

$12 Million Awarded to 90 Applicants Across Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is pleased to announce the second round of Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) grant awards have been selected. In total, more than 449 applicants requested over $86 million in funding. A wide diversity and breadth of topics were represented in the applications. DHS has awarded 90 projects with a total of over $12.5 million in project funding. Combined with the first round, DHS has awarded just over $30 million.

The awarded projects will impact multiple Medicaid programs and reach both urban and rural areas of the state. Many awardees will focus on transportation as a way to get program members into the community where they can engage in activities and get vital services.
