July 12 Stakeholder Call Canceled

The Wisconsin programs eligibility policy updates stakeholder call scheduled for July 12 has been canceled.

The next call is currently scheduled for July 26 at 12 p.m.

July and August Health Care Program Renewal Updates

  • For health care renewals due in July, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) sent renewal packets last month and is asking members to submit their renewals by July 18 to avoid any gaps in coverage.
  • For health care renewals due in August, DHS started mailing renewal packets this week, and is asking members to submit their renewals by August 17.

Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Program Updates

  • The final School P-EBT benefit issuance for the 2022-23 school year is scheduled for July 15.
  • The only 2023 Summer P-EBT benefit issuance took place on June 17. 
    • In total, DHS sent out just under $43 million worth of benefits.
    • Those benefits went to more than 357,000 children across nearly 200,000 households.
  • For families that don't agree with the amount of P-EBT benefits they got during the 2022-2023 school year or for the summer of 2023, the last day that fair hearing requests can be made is July 31.
  • More P-EBT information will be shared at the upcoming July 26 call.
