ODHH is hosting a series of informal meetings to share information, answer questions, and connect with our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Each meeting will have a general theme, and we encourage you to bring your questions and comments to share.

What is the topic for the next meeting?
Celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month; Lens into Mental Health Services for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf Blind.
This presentation will provide a brief overview of deaf Mental Health and Behavioral Health services, common mental health conditions within the deaf community, and services and resources available here in Wisconsin. Q&A opportunities will be available to answer any burning questions related to Mental Health and Behavioral Health.
Katy Schmidt Hagmeyer is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in private practice, Deaf Inspire, LLC, which provides assessment, diagnostic services, psychotherapy and consultant services primarily for the deaf community. Katy has a special interest in trauma work, and she is located in the Milwaukee area, but serves clients from all over the state of Wisconsin.
Are the meetings accessible?
Yes, the meetings are accessible. We will have interpreters and live captioning for all of our meetings.
