Today, March 29, 2023, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services submitted its plan to the legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance on how to use $8 million in opioid settlement funds to address the state’s opioid epidemic. The annual submission is required under 2021 Wis. Act 57 . 

The plan presented to the committee in 2022 was created from feedback provided in a series of listening sessions. This year, DHS used responses to a survey to prioritize how to use this year’s installments.
