ODHH Community Connect
What is ODHH Community Connect?
ODHH is hosting a series of informal meetings to share information, answer questions, and connect with our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Each meeting will have a general theme, and we encourage you to bring your questions and comments to share.
When is the next ODHH Community Connect meeting?
Our next meeting will be on March 2, 2023.
What is the topic for the next meeting?
Learn about Wisconsin’s Elder Nutrition Program and about why the nutrition services our aging network provides are so important for our older adult community. Approximately half of older adults are at risk for malnutrition, and Sara Koenig, Elder Nutrition Program manager, will talk about how her program is working to address it and steps you can take to recognize the signs of malnutrition in your clients, friends, and family members. She will also talk about key nutrition needs that change as adults age and some dietary patterns that can help older adults get those important nutrients they need. Bring your lunch and let’s talk about food!
Are the meetings accessible?
Yes, the meetings are accessible. We will have interpreters and live captioning for all of our meetings.
We can't wait to see you!
