Webinar Series Description
WisCaregiver Careers continues to host a free webinar series on how to build and expand peer-to-peer CNA mentorship programs and is designed to document skills competency of all CNAs to prepare them to provide the best possible care. The series will teach participants how to implement a model program specific to the long-term care setting that has been proven to increase retention.
This webinar series is being offered free of charge to the long-term care community by the WisCaregiver Careers program. Employers do not need to be currently registered with the WisCaregiver Careers program to attend. Employers already participating in WisCaregiver Careers are encouraged to attend, but participation in either webinar is optional. Employers are not required to structure their mentorship program according to the model to receive reimbursement for mentor bonuses.

Plan your CNA Mentorship Skills Clinic, November 1 – 12 p.m.-1 p.m.
This webinar walks you through everything you need to do to prepare for your mentorship program's CNA skills competency clinic. Your CNA mentees will be shown the facility specific SOPs for their core skills. Once mastered, their CNA mentors will confirm and document their competencies so that your facility is always providing the best possible care to residents.

How to Train Your CNA Mentors, November 8 – 12 p.m.-4 p.m.
