Annual Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) Re-Enrollment Timeline and Instructions
Timeline:
Annual re-enrollment for the VFC program will begin on Monday June 27, 2022 and will go through the close of business on Friday July 29, 2022. As in the past, all VFC sites will re-enroll via the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR). If re-enrollment is not completed by the July 29, 2022 due date, your site will be suspended from ordering vaccines through the VFC program.
Any site that receives and administers VFC vaccines is required to complete and submit this re-enrollment.
The following information includes how to locate the instructions for re-enrollment and how to start the re-enrollment process.
- Open WIR and log in.
- Click into the clinic you are looking to re-enroll at the top of the screen.
- Click on the tab titled "r/r" in the top menu bar.
- Scroll down to the section titled VFC Renewal and Registration Forms
- To view a copy of the instructions, click on the link "VFC Registration and Renewal Instructions”.
- To start your re-enrollment, click on the link "Begin Online VFC Registration or Renewal."
Note: As in previous years, you will have 60 minutes to complete your re-enrollment session before you are timed out. If you time out of your session, you will encounter a red banner screen notifying you to contact the WIR helpdesk for further information. If you time out while on one of the re-enrollment screens, you will need to start the VFC renewal process again by logging back into WIR, selecting the site you were working on, and clicking the r/r button. If WIR will not let you continue at that point, please contact the WIR helpdesk at 608-266-9691 or dhswirhelp@wi.gov .
Acknowledgement/Signature Page:
Do not print and send the entire agreement.
You are required to check both of the acknowledgment boxes, sign, and return the Acknowledgement page only. Do not return the entire agreement.
By checking the acknowledgment boxes and signing, you agree to adhere to the requirements outlined in both the Restitution Policy as well as the VFC agreement. If you do not check both boxes and sign the Acknowledgement form, your VFC agreement will not be accepted which will put your site at risk of being suspended from ordering vaccine.
The signature page will print out with the annual re-enrollment documents and must be returned via fax (608-267-9493) or emailed to the Wisconsin VFC Program (vfc@wi.gov) by the July 29, 2022 deadline. Be sure to keep a copy for your records.
Annual Training Question:
You will see a question about annual training while completing your re-enrollment. The training that is being referred to is the 2021 annual VFC training webinar that you should have completed last year. Annual training for 2022 will be coming later this year. We will send an announcement with additional details as we get closer to the annual training period.
