Join Us on July 7 for ODHH Community Connect
What is ODHH Community Connect?
ODHH is hosting a series of informal meetings to share information, answer questions, and connect with our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Each meeting will have a general theme, and we encourage you to bring your questions and comments to share.
When is the next ODHH Community Connect meeting?
Our next ODHH Community Connect meeting is scheduled for July 7, 2022, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Please drop in during this time to connect with us and other people in the community. If you can't stay for the entire meeting, no problem! Drop in just to say "hi," or stay for the entire hour.
What is the topic for the next meeting?
Laura Plummer from the Department of Health Services will be joining us to discuss assistive technology (AT) used by people who are Deaf and hard of hearing. She will share information about WisTech, Wisconsin’s assistive technology program, that has devices available for demonstration and loan. You’ll learn where to find AT devices and the funding programs available to help pay for them. Laura is happy to answer questions and also likes to get input on what gadgets or apps you currently find the most helpful.
Are the meetings accessible?
Yes. We will have interpreters and live captioning for all of our meetings.
We can't wait to see you!
