On April 5, 2022, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued QSO-22-07-ALL Revised 4/05/22 - Revised Guidance for the Interim Final Rule - Medicare and Medicaid Programs; Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination.

The revised guidance provides important information on implementation, as well as guidelines to assess and maintain compliance with the COVID-19 vaccination requirements for health care workers at facilities participating in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
