WisCaregiver Careers Program Update

WisCaregiver Program To Expand: Employers Invited to Informational Webinar

The WisCaregiver Careers program is currently recruiting qualified employers to host new CNA training slots. Started in 2018, the program has been developed and managed through an ongoing partnership between the Wisconsin Health Care Association/Wisconsin Center for Assisted Living (WHCA/WiCAL), LeadingAge Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS).

A new phase of this program will expand its support to up-and-coming Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and participating nursing home employers through retention bonuses, employer reimbursement and success bonuses, and mentorships.

WHCA/WiCAL and LeadingAge Wisconsin are hosting two upcoming Employer Kick-Off Webinars to learn more about the program and  how to participate, their statewide media campaign, and CNA recruitment resources.

These webinars will be recorded and distributed.
