iHealth Rapid Antigen Test Kit Supply
This bulletin is being sent to testing partners, healthcare emergency readiness coalition coordinators, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, infection preventionists, and key DHS staff.
DHS has procured a supply of iHealth rapid antigen tests. Please note, future orders placed for BinaxNOW rapid antigen tests might be fulfilled with iHealth tests. You will be notified via email when your antigen order is filled with iHealth tests. We anticipate starting to distribute these tests during the week of February 14, 2022.
All specimen collectors must review the instructions completely before administering the iHealth test to help ensure accurate results. Results need to be reported in COVID Connect or in another reporting mechanism currently in use.
Tests cannot be given to individuals for use at-home, despite labeling about at-home use on the test kit boxes. As a condition of receiving COVID-19 testing supplies and/or laboratory services at no cost from the State of Wisconsin, you agree to use and administer testing supplies and laboratory services as approved by the Department of Health Services. The tests must be used at a site with a CLIA certificate of waiver.
Tests can be ordered through the Wisconsin COVID-19 Collection Supplies Request web portal. The ordering process remains the same.
We are very pleased to be able to meet your testing needs with the iHealth tests. Please contact WICOVIDTEST@wisconsin.gov with questions. We continue to be grateful for your partnership, and thank you for helping stop the spread of COVID-19 in Wisconsin.
