BinaxNow Antigen Rapid Test Kit Expiration Extension

DHS was notified in the late afternoon on Tuesday, January 11, by Abbott of its decision on January 7 to extend by three months the expiration date for certain BinaxNow antigen rapid test kits that were first extended for six months in May 2021.
Please do not discard test kits that you may have that were scheduled to expire. Abbott informed us that additional details will be provided next week to confirm specific test kit lot numbers that are affected by this extension.
