Prevention and Control of Acute Respiratory Illness Outbreaks in Long-Term Care Facilities
The Department of Health Services (DHS) has issued DPH Numbered Memo BCD 2021-13 on the prevention and control of acute respiratory illness outbreaks in long-term care facilities. This memo supersedes DPH Numbered Memo BCD 2021-11 and includes updated guidance aligning non-COVID-19 outbreak visitation guidance with COVID-19 outbreak visitation guidance. It also removed references to admission considerations outlined in Memo BCD 2021-11.
