DHS 105.14 Adult Day Care Centers - Effective December 1, 2021

Chapter DHS 105.14 Provider Certification Adult Day Care Centers is published with an effective date of December 1, 2021. The new rule affects all Adult Day Care Centers (ADCC) certified by the State of Wisconsin.

The new rule includes updated requirements regarding the areas listed below and other new provisions.

  • Caregiver background checks
  • Caregiver misconduct investigation and reporting
  • Reporting requirements
  • Caregiver minimum age
  • Delayed egress
  • Elimination of separate requirements for Family Day Care Centers

Training:
DQA staff will provide training for all ADCC providers regarding the new rule at the Bureau of Assisted Living Forum scheduled Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
