Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Manager

Resources Available Regarding Changes to the NEMT Benefit

Beginning November 1, 2021, a new company called Veyo will arrange rides for Wisconsin Medicaid members to get to their covered health care appointments. Members who are eligible for this benefit, called non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), will continue to call the same number (866-907-1493) to arrange rides. Providers can also request rides for eligible members.

In general, ride-specific issues or questions should be directed to Veyo. For NEMT policy questions, please contact us at DHSNEMTInfo@dhs.wisconsin.gov. Interested stakeholders are encouraged to sign up for DHS email notices to receive information about the NEMT benefit; the sign-up link is available on the DHS NEMT Manager website

The resources listed below provide additional information about the transition, improvements to services, and the new company.
