Vaccine Recall
GSK VACCINE RECALL ANNOUNCEMENT
We were notified today that GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is voluntarily recalling one lot of Engerix-B prefilled syringe vaccine lot number CP23D. There is nothing wrong with the vaccine and the recall is due to a small number of syringes being shipped without an identifying label.
This vaccine was shipped to providers between June 8, 2021 and August, 26, 2021. GSK has identified providers in Wisconsin that received this product and those providers will be receiving a letter directly from GSK with instructions on how to move forward.
If you do not receive a letter from GSK, you are not affected and there is nothing more for you to do.
