Assisted living providers and prospective providers/applicants are invited to attend the Assisted Living Initial Licensing Live Webinar on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The Bureau of Assisted Living (BAL) will provide helpful information on licensing a Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) or an Adult Family Home (AFH).

Webinar participants will learn:

  • How to submit a licensure application, including an overview of the new online electronic licensure process for CBRFs.
  • What forms and documents are necessary to apply for licensure.
  • Policies and procedures – why they are important and how to use them.
  • Key elements of CBRF and AFH operations, including program statements and more.

If you plan to start a CBRF or an AFH, you may find our informational live webinar helpful; however, attending the live webinar is not required to obtain licensure.
