LIVE SESSIONS: November 15-18, 2021
Registration is now available for the FOCUS 2021: A Virtual Experience conference for health care providers and Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) staff. The conference will again feature a life safety track with special sessions for architects, engineers, maintenance directors, physical plant managers, quality improvement managers, and risk managers.
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, the FOCUS 2021 conference will again be all-virtual and hosted using the Whova conference management app. The conference will consist of live sessions over a 4-day span November 15-19. The conference will feature a keynote presentation each morning from 8-9 a.m. This is followed by a morning session from 9:15-11:00 a.m. An afternoon session ends each of the four days from 2:00-3:45 p.m.
The FOCUS 2021 conference consists of 30 different live presentations over four days for the low price of $195 per attendee. Plus, attendees will have access to most presentations for up to six months after the conference ends.
Three national speakers will present keynote presentations:
- November 16: David Glickman – Perspective is the Best Medicine
- November 17: Jan McInnis – Finding the Funny in Change
- November 18: Dr. Michael Gillette – The Lingering Ethical Questions in Our Pandemic Response
The FOCUS conference is seeking Continuing Education certification approval from the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) and from the National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter. The Life Safety Track is seeking approval from the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
