Division of Medicaid Services Numbered Memo 2020-04 End Dated

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has end dated Division of Medicaid Services Numbered Memo 2020-04, Minimum Contact Standards for Support and Service Coordination: New Requirements Necessitated by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic as of September 1, 2021. County waiver agencies (CWAs) must implement support and service coordinator (SSC) contacts with participants as outlined in the Children's Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program Manual (P-02256), Chapter 4.6.19.2, Support and Service Coordination Service Requirements.

Every participant and their family requires varying levels of engagement with their SSC to maintain quality services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Permanent policy in the CLTS Program Manual outlines minimum frequencies for each type of required SSC contact. SSCs and families must determine together the level of engagement that will best support each family’s unique and evolving needs, based on the variables outlined in the CLTS Program Manual.
