ATTN: Assisted Living Facilities
Your Input is Needed to Help CDC and DHS Better Understand Infection Prevention Education Needs Among Wisconsin Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs)
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is partnering with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to roll out a new infection prevention training program for frontline health care workers in a variety of settings. Project Firstline is intended to help frontline health care workers understand and confidently apply infection prevention and control principles to help protect themselves, their residents, their families, and their community from infectious diseases like COVID-19.
Your input is needed to help CDC and DHS better understand the educational needs of frontline health care workers and to guide the development of future Project Firstline materials. Input from staff working in assisted living facilities at all levels is welcomed.
Please take a few minutes to complete the Project Firstline learning needs assessment and pass this message along to other staff who work in your facility.
Participation in this survey is voluntary, your responses will be anonymous, and there will be no negative effects for participating or choosing not to participate. The needs assessment will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
We welcome your input through the learning needs assessment. (https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/6348271/Project-Firstline-Learning-Needs-Assessment)
