Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Program

Reminder: Post Johnson & Johnson on Exchange for Redistribution

As Johnson & Johnson supply remains limited, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) would like to remind vaccinators to post any vaccine you would like to offer to other vaccinators on the Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Exchange

Also, please review the expiration dates of your Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine and ensure that any Johnson & Johnson supply you posted on the Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Exchange that was originally set to expire in June (but due to recent changes from the FDA had its expiration date extended) has been reposted with updated expiration dates. If you have not yet reposted after the June expiration date, this vaccine was likely automatically removed by the system due to its original expiration date in June. At this point in time, Johnson & Johnson is unable to be ordered from manufacturers, so it is critical that all spare doses are shared on the exchange.

Wisconsin COVID-19 Vaccine Exchange Reminders

Offer Vaccine: If you have extra doses of vaccine that you would like to offer for other vaccinators to use, please complete the offer vaccine form and click submit. Please note, you will need to refresh the page after submitting to see your entry placed. If another vaccinator requests to use your vaccine, you will receive an email with contact information for next steps.

Request Vaccine: Before you place a new order for vaccine through the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR), please review this listing, as you may find that the vaccine you need is available near you now. If your need can be filled by a posted listing, please complete the request vaccine form and click submit. You will receive an email with contact information for next steps.

If you are in urgent need of Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and there is none readily available to you on the Vaccine Exchange, please send an email to DHSCovidVaccinator@wis.gov and we will work to try to identify doses for you.

Thank you for working together to ensure Wisconsin vaccinators and their patients have access to needed Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. DHS will continue to keep you informed on any Johnson & Johnson supply developments.
