Uber and Lyft Offering Free Rides to COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment
From now until July 4, Uber or Lyft will pay for your ride to your COVID-19 vaccination. Uber is offering up to $25 for each ride (up to 4 rides) and the offer can be found directly on the Uber phone app. Lyft is offering up to $15 for each ride (up to 2 rides) and the offer can be redeemed by signing up here.

COVID-19 Vaccines Can Be Given with Other Routine Vaccines
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recently announced that all three authorized COVID-19 vaccines can be administered at the same time as other vaccines. This means that adolescents and adults can get a COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines without having to worry about timing, you can even get them on the same day! Are you or your children behind on vaccines? Make an appointment today with your health care provider to catch up on routine vaccines – and make sure to ask about the COVID-19 vaccine!

Reducing Barriers to Advance Equity through COVID-19 Vaccination
As part of our $6.2 million grant program to promote vaccine equity, local and tribal health departments, vaccinators, and community-based organizations are finding ways to ensure underserved and historically marginalized populations have the opportunity to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Here are a few highlights of the work our partners are doing:

Literacy Network is hosting a vaccine mini-lesson the first week of June.

Urban League of Greater Madison hosted a vaccination event on Tuesday May 25th. The event featured a visit from Governor Evers and Secretary Timberlake. They are hosting another event on June 15th.

Madison Area Technical College (MATC) hosted a vaccination clinic on Tuesday May 25th.

African Heritage Inc. has already held two vaccination events in April and May, and is hosting a vaccination event to celebrate Juneteenth in Appleton on Saturday June 13th.

Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice just launched their “I got the shot” media campaign and website.

Coalition of WI Aging and Health Groups launched their messaging campaigns “You Matter, Vaccinate, and “Protect Your Family. Vaccinate” partnering with local community leaders.

Hmong American Center hosted a youth focused vaccination clinic on May 23rd with special outreach to Hmong and Hispanic families.

Milwaukee Reparatory Theatre produced four original music videos promoting the COVID-19 vaccine.
COVID-19 Data Dashboard Improvements Go Live
This week, DHS updated data displayed on the COVID-19 Summary Data page. The new Wisconsin COVID-19 Summary Statistics dashboard will continue to report COVID-19 cases and deaths, but with a stronger emphasis on 7-day averages and will now also display vaccination rates and disease activity so Wisconsinites can continue to stay informed on the state of the pandemic. DHS has also announced that COVID-19 data on its website will now only be updated Monday through Friday

Want to Host an On-Site Vaccination Clinic?
Summer programs, sporting programs, faith-based, schools, or other community-based organizations who want to hold an on-site clinic for a group of individuals ready to be vaccinated, can communicate their interest to DHS and learn more about coordinating an on-site vaccination clinic on the DHS COVID-19 vaccine partner resources webpage. Employers can also hold an on-site clinic for their employees and their families, visit our COVID-19: Businesses, Employers, and Workers webpage to sign up.
