IMPORTANT: Ordering COVID-19 Test Supplies - DHS continues to make COVID-19 testing services available to Assisted Living Facilities who wish to regularly test staff or respond to an outbreak
Ordering your COVID-19 test supplies has been streamlined. Effective immediately, if you would like to place an order for testing supplies (PCR or POC Antigen testing) go to the ordering website. Navigate to the Assisted Living Facility tab. Enter your facility name and ordering details.
Testing is not mandatory in Assisted Living Facilities. The testing strategy can be what best fits your facility. See the Assisted Living Covid-19 Testing Guidance P-02768 to help guide your testing strategy.
Please refer to HAN #17 if choosing a POC antigen method of testing. All POC testing needs to be reported to your local public health, state and federal government as outlined in HAN #17. If your facility has never tested before you will be paired with a lab to perform your PCR sample processing.
