DHS COVID-19 vaccine distribution metrics

This bulletin is being sent to key stakeholders and DPH staff.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has launched a redesign of the vaccine distribution summary on the COVID-19 vaccine data page. The new dashboard displays key metrics related to Wisconsin’s COVID-19 vaccination program.

The dashboard contains separate data tabs. The allocation and administration tab shows:

  • State allocation, including doses allocated through the Federal Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program
    • Does not include federal allocations for other programs, including the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program and Health Center COVID-19 Vaccine Program
  • Administration data, including:
    • Total doses administered in Wisconsin
    • Administered doses per manufacturer type
      • May not add up to total doses administered due to some vaccinations reported in WIR with unknown or missing manufacturer data
    • Vaccine doses administered in Wisconsin by day, including a seven-day average trend line

The provider tab shows:

  • Percent of total doses administered by vaccine provider type
  • Number of doses administered per week by vaccine provider type

This update is part of a continued effort by DHS to improve information accessibility while maintaining transparency on Wisconsin’s COVID-19 vaccination program. The updated dashboard aims to provide a more comprehensive overview of the state’s vaccine supply and highlight the work of Wisconsin’s vaccine providers to quickly and safely administer vaccines.
