This memo provides notice that the Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) is now conducting the required four-year renewal of licensee background checks.

Entity background checks are completed by DQA. They are distinct from background checks completed by entities for their employees and contractors. The memo explains steps entities must take to comply with background check requirements by May 3, 2021.
