Call for Applications - Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training

Mental Health America of Wisconsin, with support through a grant from the Division of Care and Treatment Services, is accepting applications for the 2021 Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training and learning community. 

This year's Wisconsin Zero Suicide Training is scheduled to take place live online using Zoom July 14-16, 2021.

  • April 7, 2021 - Webinar for interested health and behavioral health care organizations: The webinar begins at 1 p.m.
  • May 3, 2021 - Completed applications and organizational self-studies due: The deadline to submit these materials is 11:59 p.m.

Strategy 3 of the Wisconsin suicide prevention plan is to implement best practices for prevention in health care systems. This involves promoting a systemic "Zero Suicide" approach, rooted in the understanding that suicide is preventable in people receiving treatment services.
