FoodShare Announcement

Your FoodShare Benefits Will Increase For Six Months Because of COVID-19

Anyone that receives FoodShare benefits will be getting additional benefits on their QUEST card starting in January and ending in June. This is because of a law passed by the federal government in December 2020 to help people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

You will get about 15% more than you usually get for the months of January through June. For January, the additional benefits will automatically be put on your QUEST card on January 24. You will be sent a letter the week of January 25 telling you how much was put on your card for this month.

For February through June, the additional benefits will be added to your usual amount and automatically be put on your QUEST card. You will get it on the day your benefits are usually put on your QUEST card each month. You will be sent another letter in February telling you how much you will get each month until June.

You do not need to do anything to receive these benefits.

You can check the balance on your QUEST card at any time through the ebtEDGE website or ebtEDGE mobile app or by calling QUEST Card Service at 877-415-5164.

You can find more information and any updates about FoodShare on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website.
