The Small Talks: How WI Prevents Underage Drinking Quarterly Newsletter is published four times a year with information on Wisconsin's underage drinking prevention campaign. Small Talks is a statewide campaign created by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services that encourages adults – especially parents and caregivers – to have short, casual conversations about the dangers of underage drinking with the children in their lives starting at age 8.

Coming soon
We are committed to focusing on upstream prevention tactics to build healthy communities. The Small Talks campaign is a critical part of this effort. We know that having small talks about alcohol can be effective in preventing underage drinking. We also know that having small talks about other drugs can be effective in reducing the misuse and abuse of those drugs. In 2021, we will be adding information to SmallTalksWI.org to help parents and other caring adults have small talks about cannabis, stimulants, and opioids.
Replay: Wisconsin Alcohol Policy Seminar
