Delay in Printing and Mailing Letters Regarding Additional FoodShare Benefits for September

On September 20, eligible FoodShare households received additional FoodShare benefits for September to help with food costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Normally after the additional benefits are issued, a notification letter is available electronically in ACCESS accounts the next business day, and paper letters are printed and mailed that same week for households who also prefer a paper copy. The notification letters were available electronically in ACCESS accounts on September 21 as usual. However, due to printing and mailing delays, the paper letters are first being printed and mailed the week of September 28, instead of the week of September 21.

Although the paper letters are delayed, households can still check the balance on their QUEST card at any time through the ebtEDGE website or ebtEDGE mobile app or by calling QUEST Card Service at 877-415-5164.

As a reminder, some new applicants or households reestablishing eligibility for August received additional August benefits on September 27. Their notification letters were available electronically in their ACCESS accounts on September 28. Paper letters will be printed and mailed the week of October 5.
