Quarterly virtual meetings

Meetings dates and times will be announced through email bulletins. These meetings are intended for county and provider staff to discuss challenges and opportunities of providing services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Relevant DHS updates will be provided during these meetings as well. If you received this newsletter, you'll receive information about these virtual meetings.

Follow ForwardHealth guidelines during COVID-19 pandemic

A lot has changed in recent months, including how to safely provide psychosocial rehabilitation services. As the situation continues to evolve, visit the COVID-19: ForwardHealth News and Resources webpage for the latest information.

Welcome Clark County!

Clark County was approved by the DHS Division of Care and Treatment Services to provide Community Recovery Services as of February 2020. They plan to begin enrolling consumers in the coming months.

Welcome back Milwaukee County!

Milwaukee County was a part of Community Recovery Services from 2010 to 2018, using Community Living Supportive Services in group homes. Milwaukee County is rejoining the program this year to provide Individual Placement and Support (IPS) supported employment services to Community Support Program consumers.

Documentation oversight request

Counties that have 10 or more consumers will receive an email in August, requesting a random sample of consumers’ most recent enrollment documentation (functional screen, assessment, discharge summary, etc). Counties with nine or fewer consumers only receive one documentation request per year, which happened in February.

Weekly DHS Bureau of Assisted Living forums

As many Community Recovery Services are delivered through residential providers, it is important for counties and providers to follow the DHS Bureau of Assisted Living guidance and recommendations. Weekly forums are held on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. For more information, visit the Assisted Living Forum webpage.
