Northeastern Wisconsin 2019 Tuberculosis (TB) Summit

November 6-7, Kimberly, WI

Registration is now open for the Northeastern Wisconsin 2019 Tuberculosis Summit, November 6 and 7 at Liberty Hall in Kimberly. Please visit the Eventbrite link to register before October 25, 2019.

Brown County Public Health is hosting this summit with support from the Division of Public Health Tuberculosis Program and Southeastern National Tuberculosis Center. Other partners include: Manitowoc County Health Department, Outagamie County Public Health Division, Sheboygan County Health Department, Fond du Lac Health Department, Appleton Health Department, and Winnebago County Health Department.

This two-day conference is designed to increase knowledge of TB and latent TB infection (LTBI) in our area by exploring topics such as: screening and diagnosis of TB and LTBI, adverse medication effects, non-tuberculous mycobacteria, radiology, extra-pulmonary TB, financial assistance to support diagnosis and treatment of TB and LTBI, and aspects of multi-drug resistant TB.
