CDC UPDATED and RETITLED recommendations for Implementation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Nursing Homes to Prevent the Spread of Multidrug-resistant Organisms (MDROs)

On July 26, 2019, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) sent an announcement to nursing home providers regarding the release of the June 2019 CDC recommendations for Implementation of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of Multidrug-Resistant Organisms (MDROs). After the initial release of these recommendations, the CDC revised and retitled the document as Implementation of PPE in Nursing Homes to Prevent the Spread of Novel or Targeted Multidrug-resistant Organisms (MDROs)
