Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services (DHS) continues to work diligently to comply with the federal 21^st Century Cures Act. Part of this act requires the use of electronic visit verification (EVV) for personal care services paid for through Medicaid. Wisconsin will begin to use EVV in 2020. Nonetheless, many stakeholders may be unaware of EVV.

Please download and share the EVV reference sheet with those impacted. It provides a broad overview of EVV and DHS’s continued commitment to quality services.
