This free boot camp training session will cover the basics of infection prevention in Wisconsin LTC facilities. Covered topics include an introduction to infection prevention and surveillance, the National Healthcare Safety Network, critical element pathways, infection prevention program and risk assessments, cleaning and disinfection, and frequently asked questions. This is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced IPs, DONs, ADONs, and charge nurses to add to their infection prevention resources.
