Implementation of HCBS Settings Rule in DQA Regulated Assisted Living Facilities

Effective March 1, 2019, under an agreement with the Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Medicaid Services (DMS), the Division of Quality Assurance (DQA), Bureau of Assisted Living (BAL) will begin inspecting DQA-regulated assisted living facilities to ensure ongoing compliance with the Home and Community- Based Services (HCBS) settings rule.
