New ebtEDGE Mobile App for Viewing FoodShare Account Information

Members receiving FoodShare benefits can now view information about their FoodShare account using the ebtEDGE mobile app.

Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (FIS), which manages the electronic benefits transfer system for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, has released ebtEDGE, a mobile app through which members can:

  • View their current FoodShare balance.
  • View account activity from the last 60 days, including detailed information about recent purchases.
  • Find retailers near them that are approved to accept FoodShare benefits.

To log into the app, members will need their QUEST card number and PIN. After successfully logging in the first time, members can choose to set up touch ID if their phone supports biometrics. After setting up touch ID, members can sign into the app with their fingerprint instead of entering their card number and PIN.

The app, which is available in English and Spanish, can be downloaded for free on the App Store and Google Play.

Note: Members can also continue to use the ebtEDGE website to view information about their FoodShare account.

The ebtEDGE app is different from the MyACCESS app recently released by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Members can use the MyACCESS app to view their enrollment status, receive reminders of actions they need to take or proof they need to submit, take pictures of and submit proof, and track the status of submitted documents.

Promotional Materials

A promotional insert with information about the ebtEDGE app is being included with the QUEST card mailer sent to members receiving a new or replacement QUEST card.

In addition, a postcard, P-02373, and poster, P-02374, are available for partners to promote the ebtEDGE app. To order the poster and postcard, complete the Forms/Publications Order form, F-80025A, and email it to dhsfmorder@dhs.wisconsin.gov.
